Class Description
This class will be a delicious deep dive into an often overlooked ingredient... pork belly! We'll be preparing three quick dishes. The first, a Ganguo-style stir fry with pork belly and onions, basically a spicy dry version of Sichuan hotpot, and secondly, we'll be preparing a Cantonese-style pork belly fried rice dish bursting with meaty flavor. Our third dish will be the simplest yet... crispy air-fried pork belly with sesame dipping sauce. Returning guest chef is David Lynn Drzick, who in addition to being webmaster behind Pacific Rim Foods, Cravings and Cravings Corners, is also the owner of Ruby 'Que Catering and 3rd Place Winner of the Confucius Institute Master Chef Competition. He has travelled to China several times and is always pursuing authentic dishes for his family and social gatherings.
