Lion's Head Meatballs & Crispy Wontons
Lion's Head Meatballs & Crispy Wontons
Class Description
A classic Chinese dish of giant pork meatballs infused with aromatics and tofu then fried and braised in a savory sauce. Served with bok choy, the meatball resembles a lion's head and the bok choy its mane. In addition, we'll be making crispy wontons stuffed with a flavorful shrimp and pork mixture along with a homemade sweet and sour dipping sauce. This class will be comfort food for carnivores! Returning guest chef is David Lynn Drzick, who in addition to being webmaster behind Pacific Rim Foods and Cravings, is also the owner of Ruby 'Que Catering and 3rd Place Winner of the Confucius Institute Master Chef Competition. He has travelled to China several times and is always pursuing authentic dishes for his family and social gatherings.
